MASCARAS is a project in which two masked luchadores (wrestlers) are in a romantic connection. During this time I was exhausted and over navigating machismo, masculinity, and romance so I wanted a project to document that emotional part and move on! I photographed DJ Ceasar and model Cruz around Lower East Side, New York. Might revisit and update this soon.
